Santa Martha Bay

Santa Martha Bay is a serene spot near the village of Soto that is unlikely to be crowded. For divers, a small buoy marks where there lies the wreckage of a small airplane that mysteriously crashed and is now just a skeleton of metal covered in coral, surrounded by curious fish. You can also see some larger fish here, like tarpon or yellowfin tuna and the occasional hammerhead shark (Curaçao has never had a shark attack). The Mushroom Forest of coral is also close by, and a fave spot for snorkelers is the Blue Room, which is a fantastic spot for Instagram photos.
