Eetcafé De Buurvrouw is one of those places people are happy to drive for. Located along the road between Piscadera and Grote Knip, it sits beneath one of the largest palapas on the island, creating a relaxed setting that feels a world away from the city.
If you're coming back from the Westpunt beaches, this makes for an excellent stop. The menu is large, varied, and full of creative dishes, so it's easy for everyone at the table to find something they'll enjoy. Over the years, many visitors have made a tradition of returning for the Ribs, Burgers, and Skewers, which have become house favorites.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, whether you're stopping by for dinner, celebrating a special occasion, or gathering with a larger group. It can get surprisingly busy, especially on weekends, so reservations are a good idea.
