This is one of the most popular beaches on the island thanks to the intriguing tugboat that sank beneath the waves decades ago. At only about 15 feet / 5 meters deep, it is accessible to both divers and snorkelers. The boat has become a hotspot for vibrant tropical fish, so it's also perfect for underwater photos. Chances of seeing an Octopus, Seahorse, or Lobster are all pretty good.
The beach also has a great bar made from recycled materials; even the furnishings are made almost entirely from natural products like coconuts, driftwood, and items the owners have found from the sea. We recommend sitting on the terrace and exploring it all with your eyes.
You’ll also find a menagerie of animals around the bar, including iguanas, cats, and dogs that all seem to live happily together. Between the snorkeling, the quirky beach bar, and the laid-back atmosphere, this is an easy place to spend a few hours.
