A longtime staple in downtown Oranjestad, Driftwood serves fresh-caught seafood from its own local fishermen. Much of what ends up on the grill was pulled from the water that same morning, then cooked simply with salt, butter, and heat. The rustic wood interior and nautical décor give the room an old-Aruba feel, and the staff treat returning guests like family. It’s straightforward island cooking done with pride, the same way for decades.
