Zeerovers is about as local as it gets a simple seaside fish shack in Savaneta where the day’s catch is served fresh from the boats that dock right beside it. You line up at the counter, choose your fish or shrimp by the pound, and it’s fried or grilled to order while you grab a seat on the pier. The view is all turquoise water, fishing nets, and sea breeze, and the crowd is a mix of locals, divers, and curious travelers who’ve heard about it by word of mouth.
It’s casual, affordable, and always busy part of the fun is the no-frills setup and the unmistakable sense that this is where the island actually eats. Bring cash, a bit of patience, and an appetite.
